Masai Girl

A while ago I got inspired to do something in the likeness of Emily Soto, but with an African touch to it. I love the way she works with light. Whether using it to shape the frame of the model or as a main light, or both. For now all I have at my disposal other than a camera is a reflector but I don’t feel limited at all because even with just one reflector there is so much you can do. Once I get a flash or other lights, techniques might change but the idea will still be the same. My friend Mwende graciously accepted to model for me again, this time with the concept of a masai girl in her garden. Credit to my friend Claire for the make-up.
