Alina & Karim – Indian Wedding – Day 1

This is my first wedding post. Haven’t really covered weddings before this, but what a wedding this was! Five days of festivities and wedding bliss. I learnt a lot about Indian customs and their culture during this particular week. It was as if for that week, these two families gave me a front row seat and let me be a witness to their lives. What I really liked most about this wedding was how the two families were so mixed with each other and so involved, you almost couldn’t tell who was from which family. The first day was held at Haveli’s on Mombasa road, there was lots of dance, singing and of course food involved, a department where the indians never disappoint!
